1. About SchoolGames

SchoolGames (schoolgames.selfemote.com) is a free educational gaming platform operated by SELFemote. No account or registration is required to use the site. By accessing SchoolGames you agree to these Terms.

2. Who may use SchoolGames

SchoolGames is open to all ages. Where SchoolGames is used in a school or classroom setting, the supervising teacher or educational institution is responsible for obtaining any parental permissions required by their local law before allowing students to access the site.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the site in ways that harm its availability.
Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or multiplayer mechanics to gain unfair advantage or disrupt other users.
Use SchoolGames to distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the teacher dashboard or administrative areas.
Submit false or misleading data to the live session or leaderboard features.

We reserve the right to block access for violations of these rules.

4. Intellectual property

All games, artwork, code, and content on SchoolGames are owned by SELFemote or licensed to us. You may use SchoolGames for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or sell any part of the platform without written permission.

Game content used in classroom instruction (screenshots, recordings for educational purposes) is permitted under fair use / fair dealing principles.

5. No warranties

SchoolGames is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that scores or game data will be preserved indefinitely.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SELFemote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of SchoolGames, including but not limited to loss of data, learning disruption, or device issues. Our total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed USD $0 (the service is free).

7. Third-party services

SchoolGames derives approximate geolocation (country and city) from your IP address using a local MaxMind GeoLite2-City database. No IP address is transmitted to any third party. The IP address itself is not stored; only the derived country and city are retained for analytics. We have no other material third-party services that transfer your IP or personal data externally.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, where SELFemote operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Thailand, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction require otherwise.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted on the homepage. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
